As a business owned by an Iranian citizen living in exile for political and religious reasons, we consider it our duty to stand with his fellow citizens in Iran in their struggle for freedom and fundamental human rights. After citizens, in unprecedented numbers, took to the streets unarmed across the country, they were attacked with heavy military equipment — shotguns, Dragunov sniper rifles fired from rooftops, and even DShK heavy machine guns originally designed for anti-aircraft use. The government shut down the internet for 18 days; nevertheless, thanks to Starlink satellite connections, reports continue to emerge from Iran about the high number of civilian casualties. Our compatriots are dying on the streets, and it is our duty to be their voice. We ask you, too, not to remain silent in the face of violence and brutality against unarmed civilians. Silence is NOT neutral.
